TEXTURE

The topic "Texture" just seemed to scream, "macro" to me, so this beautiful gourd doll, done by a good friend, appeared to be the ideal subject for both facets of the shot. She is small, around 7 inches tall so perfect for a macro shot, and she is layered in multiple kinds of textures which meets the other criteria. I have used this doll on at least one other occasion this year, but for another topic entirely...so if you missed her before, here she is once again. Enjoy!
