Sunday Skies at the Maritime Museum

Went to see the Ansel Adams exhibition, From the Mountains to the Sea, at the Maritime Museum.
It was held there as the exhibition theme was water.
I wasn't blown away, as I'd expected to be.
Heresy, I know:)
There were eight or so standouts, but I thought a lot of them were pretty average.
The lighting was very poor, which didn't help.

This is the Cape Bowling Green Lighthouse, which was moved to the museum in 1998.
You can just see inflatable santa looking through his inflatable telescope at the top.

Cape Bowling Green lighthouse was built in 1874
to assist vessels passing through the Great
Barrier Reef via the Inner Route. It was one of 22
lighthouses built to the same design to aid ships
serving the expanding North Queensland ports.
Cape Bowling Green is a low sandy spit 70 km south
of Townsville, where many ships had run aground.
