Bands of light and dark...

What a beautiful start to December. Over the North Sea a grey dawn sky is split in two by a band of warm orange. The stark outlines of the ash trees, now almost bare of leaves add a sharp contrast. Out in the bay MV Wilson Almeria in from Bremerhaven waits for entrance to the harbour.
