Dawn run with DM before Church. It was pure play out there this morning for us.

First Day of Advent today and reminded as I ran and stopped and photo'd that I need these moments of mindfulness and prescence to live life fully rather than race and stumble into excess and mindlessness. Despite the surrounding madness this can be a season full of goodness.

Elsewhere in my world, my boys have mocked me since they were able to about my Bob Dylan music collection - earlier this year the eldest boy went to see him in Toronto and I came in from Church today to hear juniors ipod playing out the poetry and music of the legend that is his Bobness. Result and perhaps they are more like their dad than I give them credit for.
