The Harlequin

I was so happy when I found a little ladybird hibernating in my Yukka when I was doing the trimming today that I picked it up and took it to show Rob.
He took one look and told me it was the dreaded Harlequin an invader from foreign parts that chomps it's way through our own ladybirds!
The balance of nature is so delicate in a way, and yet I feel that the force of Gaia will overcome in the end, though I don't know what we will end up with.
