Holly

A quiet day of putting the garden to bed for the winter - cutting back and deadheading. In fact the garden is quite colourful - pyrocanthia, cotoneaster, holly and irises in berry - but even in suburbia, where you are never completely free of traffic noise, there was a sense of deep quiet.
