Perhaps the room keys have moved on from those old metal key shaped things to faceless swipe cards today, but the halls and carpets of your average hotel are pretty much the same. You can tell this is morning by the vacuum cleaner and cleaning trolley. If it was night there would be the odd discarded room service tray hanging about.
