Cardinal calms

The sight of a cardinal, whether it's on our feeder or flying across the road as I'm driving to destinations unknown, never fails to calm me. Cardinals are discriminating birds- they certainly are not the ones to flock at the bird feeder hoarding all the food. So, to see one pose for what seemed like an inordinate amount of time was beyond special to me.
