Thanksgiving/Advent Feast

Today we finally got to celebrate Thanksgiving - on the first of Advent. It was worth the wait, since all of our German exchange daughters were able to come! It was the first time we've had all of them together. A couple of them brought their boyfriends and parents - so all together we were 14 for a lovely feast of traditional American food - a roasted turkey, sausage stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry relish, etc - as well as apple and pumpkin pies and chocolate chip cookies.

I will always be thankful that Youth For Understanding brought us all together!
