Gone to Seed

I like the seed heads of the Creeping Buttercup. I hadn't noticed the little hooks on the ends before. Go large to see them

I've made the pre-Christmas fruit cake today except I accidentally made it in a 7inch tin rather than an 8 so it is rather tall. I am sure that it will still taste OK.

I went to the garden centre today to buy some pansies to put in the tubs by the front door. There were lots of people buying Christmas trees and then finding that they didn't fit in the car!!!!
