My boss took this shot at our Winter Forum tonight. It's the first time the big plastic cheque has had an airing, but it won't be the last. One of the good things about my job is the small grants scheme we run for community groups. Tonight's recipient is a new-ish small local charity that supports people who have suffered from trauma. I got the nice job of handing over the cheque with one of my Board members. Afterwards, mulled fruit punch and mince pies and some fine singing from the Spectrum Singers, another local group that has benefited from the grant scheme. A fine way to start a working week!
