NUMBER 2

2 glugs of brandy.....to soak the fruit for a Christmas cake....think I might have made one before but usually run out of time!
Today... Tennis, coffee, walk, chores, dinner and then an evening chilling....oh no...having unblocked the kitchen sink the water must have some how (don't know how) backed up into the washing machine so when I opened the door a FULL washing machine empty over the kitchen floor and flooded into the dining room and the hall.....thank heavens for J, O and K who so kindly mopped it all up with every towel in the house (that's why we have kids!!)....now I just have 3 loads of towels to wash!!
