chaos

Most people who come on site at this point (about forty-eight hours before we hand over to the client) take one look and think it will never happen. We know it will! It's always a bit scary though, there are at least two skips worth of rubbish still on site - rubbish accumulates in direct proportion to how near you are to handover as more and more stuff gets delivered and fitted. Poor old Jonny the sparks is in everyone's way, he works his socks off but he has to have jobs going on everywhere and every job has a little pile of bits and pieces and of course they can't be moved

But the shell is virtually complete and decorated, much of the equipment is installed and today we're getting signage, seating and a delivery of stored equipment from the client. In the basement there are three teams putting together a huge chesterfield, wallpapering the end wall and putting together bench seating for the vaults

Everyone knows what they're doing, how they have to fit in and well before lunch time two of the teams will be gone. Like I say, organised chaos
