Hardy Mums

Every year, around this time, this signboard hangs from one of the traffic signs in town. Perhaps some on the other side of the pond may wonder if this sign indicates where one can find stalwart mothers, but here it just means that frost-resistant chrysanthemums are sold a half mile down the road after the next right.
