Home grown

We are now rolling home grown barley with our own roller. Before we used the seed company's machine which cost a lot since we would need it a number of times during the winter. We feed this to our livestock along with silage etc.

Friends from Devon and Somerset came to lunch, all farmers! Great to see old friends.

There was an extraordinary purple light in the sky this evening after the sun had set, the weather must be on the change!
