Another Kind of Unexpected Treat

Who would have thought that after the pea-soup fog this morning the sun would prevail and colour the local flora so that it looked like spring had returned? There was no need to go to any woodland area to shoot this ... just the 300 m. walk from the parking area to the university. Hard to believe that this, too, is Rotterdam. On the other hand, well, why not!?

It has turned out that the circular road where I used to park (where the fines are steep if you don't do it properly) has become a paid parking area ... am I glad I got rid of the habit of looking for a spot there! Two euros an hour (?) is an unaffordable and unnecessary luxury.
