Charity shop find

There are several charity shops near work, so I when I want to go out out lunch time and get a breath of fresh air I tend to have a look in passing. Every now and again I find a nice blouse or bag. Sometimes I admit I don't need another blouse or bag and I resist the temptation. But one thing I do need is a new sewing box, the old one is a nice inlayed box. But the veneer is worn at the corners and the hinges have been repaired so often I'm scared to open the lid beyond the vertical.

So when I saw this nice box I bought it.

I have no doubt Kaybee will be able to tell me the kind of wood.

It really is a very satisfying box.
