hipster eatery

Went to a place called Depot, a hipster eatery [they even call it an eatery, not a restaurant]. Tall wooden benches and stools, menus designed for sharing, cutlery in an old tin can on the table. No reservations, waited 45 minutes for a table on a wet Wednesday night. Was it worth it...?

Ordered the meat board and was disappointed to find it was a cold collation [without the obligatory bags of lettuce or lashing of ginger beers]. But had a mouthful of squid ink linguine that was heaven, and the side dish of green tomatoes on ciabatta with oregano and zingy goat's curd was divine.
