Toronado, San Francisco

The sign above right is misleading. There's no better place to park yourself of an afternoon on Haight Street than Toronado, with its stupendous range of beers on tap at very sensible prices. Also, it's well away from the hippie bullshit area of Haight Street that can tend to get on a Jarv's nerves, especially if one lacks foresight in the wardrobe department. In hindsight, wearing a Brouwerij t'Ij shirt with AMSTERDAM on it in big letters wasn't the best way to deter would-be marijuana sellers on Haight.
