Meet Alan

When the kids were born I decided to buy a new Christmas decoration every year, and Alan is last year's purchase. I had been shopping a bought a number of items and presents from one of my favourite little shops. Very out of character for me I didn't really notice the price. When R met Alan, she asked if there was a sale on in the shop? When I replied No, she said she couldn't believe how much I had paid for him (and neither could I actually), so R named him Alan, as he is in her words "worth nearly as much as Lord Sugar."

I do like him, I didn't put him away until about March and he is the first decoration out this year too - got to get value for money after all!
