Kruckeberg Gardens

Sunday Big R and I went over the bridge and through the woods up the I-5 corridor a wee bit to visit the Kruckeberg Botanical Gardens in Shoreline. They advertised some holiday festivities and open self touring of their woodsy gardens. So we went...I went very slowly cane in hand up and down a few easy peasy trails. It was a glorious sunny chilly day quite befitting a Pacific Northwest winter time. Here's a collage of a few things we saw...intermingled along the trails and in the open areas were a variety of natural sculptures and artwork. Their were many native plants to see and even some to buy if one was so inclined. Big R managed to find a sample gingerbread cookie too. Have a nice week:)
