The canal at dusk

Bit of an emergency blip today as I have been rushing around all day.

I met some friends in Costa Coffee this morning. I am not a fan of coffee shops, far preferring to sit around a kitchen table with a cup of nescafe, but I do go every so often just to show willing. The service was appalling with 2 grumpy waitresses ( barista is too posh a word for them!) who hardly spoke a word of English between them and who managed to spill our coffees and get the order wrong. I have sent an email to them outlining my 'disgust' at their customer service. It will be interesting to see what they have to say.
