Wuthering Heights

This is neither the cover of a new "Godspeed you! Black Emperor" EP, nor a still from the screen adaptation of The Road... It has that apocalyptic feel to it, though. The wind howling in the trees this morning was the most impressive I have heard it in a long time. The top of the cypress tree in my garden, 4 meters up, did not survive. We found it agonising on the pavement this morning. Thankfully no one was in its path when it fell. No doubt all the remaining autumn leaves won't have failed to take what they will probably have believed to be the last express home. Godspeed!
