Greenback

We had a small splash of sunshine this morning before the wind and rain got here. I managed to get a shot of this male chaffinch sunning his back and showing off his lovely green patch - if you look carefully you can see Mrs Chaffinch just in front of him (a bit blurred, sorry), enjoying the very brief spell of sun too :-)
I have been quite busy this morning putting together some Christmas cards that I make from photos I have taken, for close friends and family that like wildlife, they seem to like them, if I get desperate for a blip in the next few days I may just have to take a photo of one of them, in the meantime back to the gluing :-)
