Well the sky did warn us!

The wind got up, the tidal surge rose and people left their homes as the evacuation notices were served all along the East Anglian coast. We got the tail of it, our trees bent in the wind, apples set off the house alarm as they dropped and Beano and myself had a gusty walk. It's all gone quiet now.
