Wind turbine trainers at work. Spent some time today trying to find out how these are put together, and exactly how they're supposed to work. They were delivered and commissioned quite some time ago, but we've only just had them passed on to us. That training course I went to at Rosyth College recently, was largely spent learning to program the control of the them (i.e software) - now trying to figure out the hardware, as guess who's going to have to fix and maintain them...

+10 degrees C this morning and dry, so headed in pronto before the forecast downpour arrived. Much cooler, and the rain had passed by the end of the work day, so made it home dry too. Dire forecast for the rest of the week - stormy/sleet/snow/ice - so no more cycling.
