it's the sun!

not the moon...

reflecting off the clouds - giving way to odd colors in the heavens - bouncing around in the late afternoon - after mostly overcast days and snow falling lightly - then deciding to peek through - it took me a moment to realize it was indeed the sun - not the moon

and - no - i've not done much to this shot at all - a bit of cropping - but technically no retouching - straight out of the camera - because to mess with these wonderfully odd colors - would be destroying the total mood - i couldn't do such a thing - so for once - moodiness leads to...
