She's under the covers and she's not coming out again. Mind you, she had just had a blood test and a thermometer inserted up her backside so she can't be judged too harshly. On the plus side everything is OK now and so no more indignities will be dished out.

That was a 9am appointment by which time I had already run Eve and Mrs Smith to the train station to get the rescheduled London train, drove back home to pick up Joe and get him up to school. Thankfully Ruby woke him up and gave him breakfast - although her style of wake up sounded like something a particularly sadistic regimental sergeant major might have used.

The three of us are off to see A Christmas Carol tonight at the Lyceum which is getting great reviews - hopefully we will stay awake through it. As Joe is at a party all afternoon at the swimming pool my money is on him flaking out first.
