Wheel

I've been working on a photo project on and off this year. I love big engineering but it's almost impossible to get the feeling of locomotives, bridges etc. into a small image.

So I've focused down on the abstract - wheels, valves etc. and I'm really pleased with how they are turning out. Had a day off today so took a trip to the National Railway Museum which is in my home town.

Spent a brilliant few hours with these big beasts and here's one of the shots from this morning.
