A trip to the hospital...

Today Jules had to go into hospital for a small procedure. It went very smoothly and despite some discomfort now, the good news is they didn't find anything....so all is well.

There was an old lady in the next bed who was on her own awaiting her procedure ....she was a worried and confused about what was going to happen. It made me think that being ill is one thing but being ill and alone is far, far worse.

Home now, kids at sleepovers, fire's lit, wine, curry and movie.
