The calm after the storm....

Was in Ballycastle today at a retreat for mission personnel home from various countries - it was really good and so interesting to learn things from other people.

Had a walk after lunch and although it was a dank and dreary day, the aftereffects of the storm were on the road where there was a lot of debris, and this was the scene on part of the beach! It makes for an interesting blip!!

So sad that Nelson Mandela has gone - an inspiration for so many.

No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.......Nelson Mandela
