And it even snowed. Despite the sun this morning, the ice that had formed on the path outside my house never thawed. Brrr. This is just a view out of my living-room window to the west - you've seen it before a couple of times.

The house has been freezing since I got home last night and discovered the central heating was off. Luckily, my plumber called round this evening and confirmed the pilot light had just gone out on my gas central heating. No more freezing house :-)
