Pond Dipping

Today, was the last day and my group went pond dipping and took samples back to the lab to see what animals we could find. There were lots of different minibeasts lurking in the water, but this fish was definitely my favourite of all the creatures that we discovered. The children loved looking through the microscope and identifying what they found; they were fascinated by just how different they looked close-up. After we had a good look, we drove back with the buckets and released all the animals back into their pond.
