Are rather few and far between in this bastion of Tory misrule. The recycling collection doesn't take them and the nearest council one is in the centre of town near the market

The dreary pub over the other side of the park has a couple of wheelie bins at the back of the car park and I tend to use those. I used to be much more organised and take the bottles as I went to the station - but I've been a bit undisciplined about it recently and there were a rather disconcerting number accumulating so I nipped out before the light faded completely. The sky over the houses on the other side of the road often catches my eye.
