Christmas lights

Due to a lack of funding the council have seriously cut back on Christmas lights and there was to be no big switch on ceremony. So a group of people from the community got together to organise a lights event and street ceilidh instead. Now that's what I call community spirit. There was singing and dancing, free mulled wine and roast chestnuts. It even snowed (horizontally at times)! We didn't stay long as I was exhausted with being poorly, but I just wanted to pop by to show my support. It looked like it was well attended, even with the horrible weather.

Playing with the new Analog Efex Pro plugin for Aperture for this photograph.
