The Orchard Park Hotel

The Orchard Park Hotel sits at the corner of Park Road and Fenwick Road in East Renfrewshire. It was built around 1900 and is a two-storey house with some Arts & Crafts detail. As well as being a hotel it also serves as our local pub.

After a busy morning out with Yes East Renfrewshire delivering leaflets for the Yes campaign, I headed to the opticians to choose frames for my new glasses as yesterday during my eye test I had it officially confirmed that I am old. I now need varifocal lenses as I can no longer see things close up with my glasses on!

Apart from being another sign of ageing they also cost a small fortune to buy.
