A loss like no other loss...

Although maybe there have been others...Ghandi maybe, Martin Luther King perhaps. You name them. But Mandela wasn't assassinated, he lived his life and triumphed over adversity. On the radio someone described him as a secular saint, and maybe he had become that. Whatever he was, he was an icon; an icon for wisdom, tolerance, humanity. And it is for being the human embodiment of these values that he will be missed the most. R.I.P.
