Several Fronts

An arctic front has produced
dramatic weather...
and dramatic light...
On the friendship front, we had a festive lunch with OilMan's high school friend and his wife...
who ihas had a mastectomy, open heart surgery and reconstructive surgery since April.
She has almost finished radiation therapy, and has done it all with good grace and optimism.
She is an inspiration, and a reminder never to complain.
On the Christmas front,we have decided to leave our artificial tree in the garage this year...
and cut a live one at the tree farm in Sebastopol.
We have reached the point where we will have to move something to make room. for it..
We thought of a place where we might only have to move one chair.
Minimal furniture moving
after a year of it...
