Long Forgotten Orchid

I finally found time to press all my cactus flowers in the big old encyclopaedia today. In amongst the pages I found a few forgotten beauties.

This orchid was from a beautiful bunch of flowers given to me by an old friend on my birthday about 8 years ago.

I was quite amazed at how well its colours had survived! It's such an old fashioned thing to do but so rewarding.
