Oh No! It's Windows 8 on the 8th

The previous laptop went back to Staples today. There was something wrong with the battery meter which constantly read 99.5% no matter how long it had been on. It had to go. Such a shame as it had a REAL 8 hour battery. Anyway, my thanks to the staff at Staples Glasgow who were very helpful in getting me back in business again. This time I had to go with Win 8 and was more than a little dubious about this OS. However, after a few hours clicking and swearing sweating, it's beginning to come together ... I think. We'll see better in the coming weeks.
