When the chips are down

I used to play quite a bit of poker, I do enjoy it but it can be a frustrating game at times. There's plenty of skill in there but you still need that bit of luck to help things along. Something I was lacking as I went out on a hand where I had pocket kings! Still it was good to enjoy the company and catch up with friends over a few drinks - might have been nicer to have a heavier wallet to weigh me down on the walk home though. There's always next time - a gamblers motto if ever there was one.
