Pergerine

Up before first light and into the hills looking for wild wallaby. Obviously wallaby are not a natural Irish breed but during the 1980's the island took charge of a population explosion in Dublin zoo and they settled successfully on the island with no natural predators.... On the way I spotted this relatively rare peregrine falcon. I had a 200mm lens fitted with a x 2 and a x 1.4 extender fitted so managed a few shots as he crossed in front of me... My day was made and I hadn't even started...spend the rest of the day tracking a herd of thirty fallow deer along the cliffs and got my wallaby shots......just saying
