A clock that works again

This afternoon I noticed, probably because it was illuminated, that the ornate Victorian clock above Lotty's Flowers on Preston Street was working again. I asked about the clock and was told it had been sent away for repair and reinstalled just after the clocks went back at the end of British Summer Time.

And it was exactly the right time. A clock that works again is a delightful thing.
