Girls' night out

Fifty members of the WI descended on the local golf club for our Christmas meal. This was a new venue for us and we think we'll go again. We were well fed and the surroundings were very elegant. The golf club is in an early nineteenth century mansion and we were in a heavily panelled dining room, looking beautiful in its Christmas garb. As expected with a group of women the conversation flowed and the evening was a good start to the Christmas season. There's more to come!
