Had a good mooch around the harbour and the village shops in the morning and then, after a bit of hometime, ventured out later in the afternoon for a wander to the beach. And, I really set out far too late, because it really did go very dark very quickly on that beach and I was strolling along the sand and mucking around with the camera and admiring the not-quite-as-raging-as-yesterday sea and realising that soon enough I wouldn't really be able to see very much at all. But I liked the look of the moon above the grass of the dunes at least.

Tea for all at the pub and then, whilst the grandparents took the girls home, us two grown-ups went back to the pub we'd just left, found some big armchairs and newspapers and settled down with a pint. Very relaxing indeed.

Sea.
