Casualty of freezing temps

It hasn't been above freezing here for several days - a bit unusual for Portland. We have a couple more days of same before it warms again. Even though I had water dripping in the cottage sink, a hot water pipe froze and apparently broke. I'm so glad I went out to check it before going to bed. Laurie and I cleaned up some water from the floor (could have been SO much worse!) and shut off the water to the cottage. This was 11pm, so the plumber call ($$$) will wait till morning.

I had waited until quite late to take a blip photo and wasn't sure what I was going to photograph - then this. As Laurie said, "Some people will do anything for a blip."
