Coveting the Amsterdam Sun

Amsterdam is normally a cloudy place; it's constantly and completely overcast. So, when the sun comes out, so does everyone. They come out of their homes and businesses and restaurants to take in what sun they can. This photo was made as the sun was starting to disappear from the street and a row of people soak up their last rays for the day before they are consumed by shadow. The last sun of the day, but maybe a week or longer.
