Fire Fun!

This morning the kids awoke to find Skipper hiding under the kitchen table with a bowl full of (artificial) snow all the way from Elfland and they had a good, fun time playing in it.

We had Forest Fun this afternoon. We built a fire and roasted marshmallows. Monkey was fascinated with the fire and it was difficult keeping him at a safe distance. After he felt the heat on the back his hands and poked it with a stick a few times he was happy to run and play with the other children - until it was time for marshmallows, anyway.

The funniest word in the world and the universe has been found to be "whack!" Honestly, after reading the word in a book my two were in hysterics for a good half an hour! I can still say the word now and Monkey will giggle uncontrollably. I don't really get it but there you go!
