Looking Up Again

Part of the ceiling at Leicester Cathedral
It was a very hard place to find but the cathedral was a lovely warm, welcoming and interesting place. There was of course quite a concentration on the fate of the remains of Richard 3rd, recently disinterred from a nearby carpark.
The rose of York can be seen in the decoration on the ceiling and there were also some nice stained glass windows.
Although Leicester has only been a cathedral since the early 20th century it was a great place to visit.

PS Because I was a silly billy and forgot to take a lead away the previous days' photos have been late in being posted. They are now in place if you have a moment or two!
