We were all getting ready to go to Rich's, a great friends funeral whom we buried today. His heart just gave up on him at 57. It has been a hard day and one I will not forget for a long time. It was a humanist funeral as he was an atheist and Eleanor's second funeral in as many weeks as we had my Mum's a couple of weeks ago.

Rich and I would sit under the stars outside our motorhomes and enjoy a bottle of Jura - single malt whisky - so I asked at the pub we had the wake and they had no problem me bringing in a bottle and toasting Rich with a load of his mates. A good send off.
